Veneris Labs builds software people reach for on purpose
Veneris Labs is a web development company with a simple focus: useful, fast, privacy-conscious, search-friendly web tools. We design and build the small software utilities that people open when they need a job done — an image compressed, a QR code generated, a number calculated — and we build the websites that support them.
The company started from a frustration with the typical online tool: cluttered with ads, slow to load, and quick to upload your files to a stranger\u2019s server. We believed a tool could be the opposite — quick to open, free of clutter, and respectful of what you put into it.
That conviction shaped our two launched products. Reduce Image File Sizecompresses and resizes images entirely in your browser, and Generate My QRcreates customizable QR codes without uploading your content. Both are free, both run locally where possible, and both were built to the same standard we apply to client work.
For clients, we do the same thing on request: design and develop custom web tools, micro-tool websites, SEO-friendly informational sites, redesigns of existing tools, and first versions of new ideas. Every engagement is scoped individually, with availability, pricing, and timelines agreed up front.
How we work
The user problem comes first
Every project starts with the job to be done, not with a technology wishlist. If a tool does not make someone’s life easier, no amount of engineering polish will save it.
Small software, done well
We specialise in focused tools: one clear purpose, an interface that gets out of the way, and code that stays maintainable for years rather than months.
Privacy as a design decision
When a task can be done in the browser, we do it in the browser. Our own products never upload your images or QR content to a server, and we prefer that approach for client work too.
Honest about scope
We say no to projects we cannot do well, tell you when an idea is not worth building, and quote individually rather than guessing at fixed prices.
